Project Sir Hubert Opperman Commemorative Trails Interpretation Signage and Brochure Project Client City of Knox (local government), Melbourne, Victoria Site Sections of the City of Knox Bicycle Trail Collaborators Graphic design - Nuttshell Graphics Sign manufacture - Execon Pty Ltd Description The City of Knox commissioned a series of panels and a brochure for its multi-use trail network which interpreted the famous cycling achievements of Sir Hubert 'Oppy' Opperman. Each trail featured a piece of modern sculpture.   This linear trail featured a panel at each end and a plaque at the sculpture. The challenge was to help trail users understand the significance of Oppy's super-human achievements, cater for users travelling in either direction and provide brief, punchy text for visitors on the run ... or walk ...or ride.
