Defcon Technologies resell a wide range of surveillance, safety and general communications gear. Their market is military and civilian law enforcement services. Their previous site, was a classic early 2000’s site with no responsive design and a limited facility to show off let alone sell the expanding product range. The company had decided to take the leap into online sales and that was the primary goal of the new site. The complication was not all products were available in a conventional online store and so a majority of the stock was to be available to vetted members only. As the project developed a further change was required with the facility for quote only on some products, as well as combinations of quote only, single sale and quote for quantity sales. The new site was also seen as an opportunity to modernise the branding and adopt a more visual style than the previous site.
